AMI Head-End System (HES) Communication Metrics
This dataset provides granular communication performance metrics for smart meters managed by an AMI head-end system, including read success rates, latency, signal strength, mesh network hop count, and firmware status. It enables utilities to monitor device health, optimize network performance, and manage firmware updates across geographically distributed assets.

Behind this dataset
Same schema. As many rows as you need.
These 200 rows came out of a blueprint — 14 columns with generation rules behind each one. Open it in Data Factory to retune a column, add your own, wire in foreign keys, and run it at the size you actually need.
- Meter ID and communication module MAC address
- Read success rate percentage (target >99%)
- Latency in milliseconds for meter-to-HES communication
- RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indicator) in dBm
- Hop count for mesh topology (meters acting as repeaters)
- Parent node/collector ID in mesh network
- Firmware version and Over-The-Air (OTA) update status
- Communication technology (RF mesh, cellular LTE/5G, PLC)
