Urban Air Quality Anomaly Logs

This dataset logs real-time urban air quality anomalies detected by distributed sensors, including detailed event metadata, pollutant measurements, severity levels, and resolution actions. It enables smart city teams and government agencies to monitor pollution spikes, identify sensor faults, and ensure rapid response for environmental compliance and public safety. The dataset supports spatial analysis, operational dashboards, and regulatory reporting.

Behind this dataset

Same schema. As many rows as you need.

These 120 rows came out of a blueprint — 22 columns with generation rules behind each one. Open it in Data Factory to retune a column, add your own, wire in foreign keys, and run it at the size you actually need.

Rules it was built with
  • Log entries must include timestamp, sensor ID, location coordinates, and detected anomaly type.
  • Anomaly types include: high PM2.5, low O2, sensor malfunction, and unexpected chemical presence.
  • Each sensor can report only one anomaly per 10-minute interval.
  • Severity rating (Low/Medium/High/Critical) is assigned based on deviation from regulatory thresholds.
  • Response action field is required if severity is Critical.
